NexaMoove Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using the NexaMoove platform (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.  

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

NexaMoove ("we," "us," or "our") provides a technology platform connecting riders ("Riders") with independent third-party drivers ("Drivers"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these legally binding Terms.  

 

2. Eligibility 

  • Riders: Must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming binding contracts.  
  • Drivers: Must hold a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and meet national and local regulatory requirements in Ghana.  

 

3. Account Registration  

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during signup.  
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and activities.  

 

4. Service Description

For Riders:  

  • Request rides, view fares, and pay via the app.  
  • Fare estimates are non-binding and may change due to traffic, route changes, or tolls.  

 

For Drivers:  

  • Accept or decline ride requests at your discretion.  
  • You are an independent contractor, not an employee of NexaMoove.  

 

5. Payments

Riders:  

  • You authorize NexaMoove to charge your selected payment method for fares and fees.  
  • Disputes must be reported within 48 hours.  

Drivers:  

  • Receive payments daily/weekly via direct deposit or instant transfer (bank may fees apply).  
  • NexaMoove retains a 10.5% commission per ride (waived during promotional periods).  

 

  1. Cancellations and No-Shows

Riders:  

  • Cancellation fees apply if cancelled after 2 minutes of driver acceptance or for repeated no-shows.  

Drivers:  

  • Excessive cancellations may result in temporary suspension.  

 

  1. Safety and Conduct

Riders:  

  • Treat Drivers and vehicles with respect. Damage to vehicles will incur repair costs.  
  • Use in-app emergency features (e.g., SOS) responsibly.  

 

Drivers:  

  • Maintain a safe, clean vehicle and comply with traffic laws.  
  • Report unsafe Rider behavior via the app.  

 

  1. Liability Limitations

NexaMoove is not liable for:  

  • Interactions between Riders and Drivers.  
  • Accidents, injuries, or property damage arising from rides.  
  • Technical outages or third-party service disruptions.  

 

  1. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:  

  • Fraudulent activity.  
  • Violations of these Terms or local laws.  
  • Repeated low ratings (Drivers) or misconduct (Riders).  

 

  1. Intellectual Property  

All app content, logos, and software are owned by NexaMoove. Unauthorized use is prohibited.  

 

  1. Promotions 
  • Offers (e.g., "20% off first ride") are subject to expiration and eligibility criteria.  
  • Abuse of promotions (e.g., duplicate accounts) will result in revoked benefits.  

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ghana. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.  

 

  1. Modifications
  • We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
